The Nokia N8 is eye catching because of it 12 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash. It's First 12 Megapixel camera phone introduced by Nokia till now .Obviously its a 3G phone and supports HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 2100 /1900 with HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2.0 Mbps.

Its actual dimensions are 113.5 x 59.1 x 12.9 mm, 86 cc and a weight of just 135 gms .I think its ok for a phone having 12 Megapixel camera and a flash also. Its other amazing which features is its AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors . Capacitive touchscreen yes you heard correct Nokia usually make there touch screen phones as Resistive screen one but this time they have made them as capacitive which is much better. It has its display resolution 360 x 640 pixels with the screen size of 3.5 inches. Its another new feature is Multi-touch input method.In the market no phone has Multi-touch input method which offers 12MP camera. Its internal storage memory has 16 GB storage with 256MB RAM and 512 MB ROM which is expandable to 32GB microSD.

The another New feature being offered by nokia is its 33 class connectivity in GPRS and EDGE. And the Wi-Fi with 802.11 b/g/n, UPnP technology. Also with the latest version v3.0 with A2DP Blue-tooth and with microUSB v2.0. Again another New feature offered by Nokia N8 is USB On-the-go It is used to connection any USB mass storage device directly with the phone , by the use of cable like a Memory card .

Now talking about the N8 unique camera . It offers 1/1.83'' sensor size with ND filter, geo-tagging, face and smile detection. It record HD (High Defination) videos at the speed of Yes, 720p @ 25fps. Also offers a 0.3 Megapixel front facing camera for video calling.Its Also the FIRST phone to offer the latest operating system Symbian ^3 OS platform with the ARM 11 680 MHz processor with 3D Graphics HW accelerator. Disappointing we were expecting that Nokia will introduce 1 Ghz processor speed anyways 680 is also ok. The browser has updated version WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML, RSS feeds with flash player support.

Its also provided with latest GPS technology with A-GPS support and Ovi Maps 3.0 installed.Java is supported by N8 with latest version MIDP 2.1. Nokia N8 supports TV-out (720p video) via HDMI and composite with Dolby Digital Plus via HDMI and Anodized aluminum casing.Like Nokia N97 it supports Digital compass.

Now taking in account about sound and support. N8 can play almost any type of Music format foe ex- MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+ player with DivX/XviD/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player.Nokia N8 also offers Built-in Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF).

In-spite of all these features Nokia N8 also have good standby time Up to 390 h (2G) / Up to 400 h (3G) as well as talktime upto to 12 h 30 min (2G) / Up to 5 h 30 min (3G). And music play of Up to 50 hours. Thats much more then he Nokia's previous phones .
